Description wedding venue
SINCERELY
We warmly welcome you to the Szilagyi Lodge.
Our lodge covers an area of one hectare and is located at the foot of Schönbühel Castle, directly on the Danube.
Schönbühel is part of the beautiful Wachau and only a three-minute drive from Melk. The journey time to Linz and Vienna is one hour by car.
The journey can be arranged individually: by water by ship, by car, by public transport or even with one of our vintage cars.
On the grounds there are old fruit trees as well as the lodge with two additional buildings. One of these buildings is our main house, which is used for catering and guest rooms. We use the second building as an apartment building.
The entire area is facing south-west and in the evening hours offers the most beautiful sunsets in the Wachau. Absolutely ideal for photographs on water and on land.
The Lodge
Our lodge consists of three individual tipis, each with a floor space of 132 m². It is possible to hang the tents together and connect them to each other when they are open. Here we are talking about a total area of 396 m². In case of bad weather the tipis can be closed at any time. If the temperatures are too cold in autumn and winter, the tents will be heated if necessary.
The tipis can be divided into the following areas:
