4. Legal basis for the storage and processing of personal data

We process our inquiries, newsletter subscribers and wedding service providers in accordance with Art. 6 paragraph 1 lit b GDPR (“the processing is necessary for the performance of a contract to which the data subject is a party or for the implementation of pre-contractual measures taken at the request of the data subject”) for the smooth provision of our services, mediation between the bride and groom and wedding service providers and for initiating business.

We process newsletter recipients, website visitors and all others who have given us consent to process their personal data in accordance with Art. 6 paragraph 1 lit a GDPR (“The data subject has given his or her consent to the processing of personal data concerning him or her for one or more specific purposes;”).

To safeguard legitimate interests in accordance with Art. 6 Paragraph 1 Letter f GDPR (“processing is necessary to safeguard the legitimate interests of the controller or a third party, unless the interests or fundamental rights and freedoms of the data subject which require protection of personal data prevail, in particular where the data subject is a child.”) in the case of measures for business management and further development of services, maintaining a service provider directory, measures to protect Hochzeit.click FlexCo from contractually or unlawful conduct or in the context of the assertion, exercise or defense of legal claims.

5. What type of personal data is collected and how is this data used

We collect personal data that you send to us or that we need to process your business, e.g. when you make an inquiry to a wedding service provider (name, text field, date of the wedding, planned budget, location of the wedding, number of guests, etc.), when you take part in a competition, when you register as a wedding service provider on one of our portals as an entry operator, etc. The personal data you provide includes, for example, contact details, information about the wedding, information about your service, and similar. In addition, we also process the following other personal data: contract data, customer and supplier history, contact persons in the company, documentation data (e.g. consultation minutes) and images, information from your electronic communication with us (e.g. IP addresses, log files), and other data that we have received from you as part of our business relationship.

The data will be used to contact you, to make customer-oriented offers and to send targeted marketing activities, to invite you to events, to send a newsletter (if requested by the customer), to give away a prize, to contact you in case of problems, to answer your questions and to notify you of new or changed services.

6. Who has access to your personal data

Your data will be processed by Hochzeit.click FlexCo. We may also engage processors to maintain the data, conduct competitions, send marketing materials, or handle sales. All processors are contractually obligated to treat your data confidentially and to process it only within the scope of providing the service. Apart from that, your data will not be passed on to third parties or resold.

7. Storage period

Personal data of bridal couples and visitors to our website is deleted after 26 months. Personal data of wedding service providers is deleted after five years, unless a statutory retention period applies or the statute of limitations for potential legal claims has not yet expired.

8. Where is the personal data stored and how do we protect your personal data

The personal data collected is stored within the European Economic Area (EEA). In the case of wedding service providers located outside the EEA, transfers outside the EEA may occur. Such transfers of your personal data will be made in compliance with applicable laws.

We have taken technical and organizational precautions to protect your data from loss, manipulation, or unauthorized access. These security measures are continually updated.

9. Cookies and third-party cookies

Our website uses so-called cookies. These are small text files that are stored on your computer when you visit our website. Cookies are used to offer the website user certain functions. For example, a cookie can make navigation easier for you, it allows you to continue browsing on a website after you have previously left it, and similar functions. We use the "Activation of IP anonymization" function on this website. This means that your IP address will be shortened beforehand by Google within member states of the European Union or in other contracting states to the Agreement on the European Economic Area. Only in exceptional cases will the full IP address be transmitted to a Google server in the USA and shortened there. 9b. Facebook Pixel

Subscription is voluntary and can be canceled at any time. Cancellation must be made in writing.

10. What rights do you have

You have the right to request information about your personal data stored by us at any time (if the request for information is disproportionate, we reserve the right to charge a processing fee). You can also request the complete deletion of your personal data. Unless there are legal grounds for retaining the data, we will be happy to process your deletion request within four weeks. You can also withdraw your consent to the use of your data for advertising purposes at any time.
