With Schloss Gurhof you have found your dream location for an unforgettable day. The castle is located on a plateau above the Wachau in the Dunkelsteinerwald, surrounded by fields. Through an artfully forged portal you enter the castle park, which is framed by magnificent willows. The centrepiece is the late baroque castle chapel, where you can get married in style or in a romantic setting. If you are planning to celebrate your wedding outside, then our idyllic rose pavilion in the castle park is at your disposal.
Our ballroom, newly renovated, offers exclusive Tuscan flair and is stylishly furnished in an elegant ambience. Receptions can be held both in the castle park, which is decorated with late baroque elements, and on the adjacent outdoor terrace on the south side. In addition, there is a dance floor, a lounge area and a bar in the more than 300 m2 event space, which can accommodate up to 250 people for weddings and 300 people for concerts, seminars or conferences.
You can say “I do” in the closest circle of your friends and family. With our partners in the catering and floristry sectors, we can also accompany you during the planning phase right up to the day of your wedding. Gurhof Castle also offers the perfect atmosphere for your celebrations afterwards.
