Impressive castle directly on the Danube with a 10,000 square meter castle garden and a unique view of Melk Abbey. Once the summer residence of the Austrian Emperor Franz II and today the first address for large celebrations with charm and style.
Luberegg was built just before 1787 by Joseph von Fürnberg, the famous Danube admiral and timber merchant from the Waldviertel. Between 1803 and 1811, Luberegg was used as a summer residence by Emperor Franz II. After a loving renovation, Luberegg Castle now has a charming yet ultra-modern feel that invites you to celebrate and linger!
With us you will find everything your heart desires: we will spoil you with exquisite cuisine and the best wines from our wine cellar. Our three luxury suites in Schloss Luberegg are the perfect place for getting ready in a relaxed atmosphere for the entire "bride-suede" ;)
The wedding ceremony can take place surrounded by a sea of flowers in the castle garden, on the sandy beach of Luberegg or in the state rooms on the first floor - there is something for every taste!
You can enjoy your wedding dinner either in our large Imperial Hall or in our elegant castle restaurant with its impressive castle bar. Both rooms can accommodate around 160 people each. As different as the two wings of our castle are, they have one thing in common: our aim to combine modernity with tradition. The best and most modern technology is installed throughout the ground floor of our castle and summer weddings are kept at a pleasant temperature thanks to ceiling and wall cooling. At the same time, loving details and memories of the imperial era can be found everywhere.
