Description wedding venue
Carnuntum is located in the east of Lower Austria on the Danube between Vienna and Bratislava. The magnificent reconstructed buildings (a residential building, a city villa and a thermal bath) bear witness to the splendor of the former Roman metropolis and provide an atmospheric setting for your wedding.
The Romans came to the Danube in 6 AD with the later Emperor Tiberius and the city was repeatedly in the spotlight of world politics for several centuries. At the Imperial Conference in 308 AD, for example, important decisions were made for the development of the Christian West.
