Eckartsau Castle is nestled in a beautiful, extensive landscape park. The former hunting lodge of the Habsburgs is characterized above all by the very well-preserved ensemble of the classical castle with park landscape. The surrounding greenery flows seamlessly into the natural landscape of the Danube-Auen National Park, so that birdsong and other animal visitors are also daily companions.
For centuries, this place has offered the ideal setting to leave the hustle and bustle of the city behind and to feel the longing for nature and culture.
Under the Habsburgs, festive dinners and lavish balls took place in the castle. Following on from the castle's magnificent era, you are now invited to write history yourself in the historic rooms and create significant moments by celebrating in this festive ambience. The romantic rose pavilion and the atmospheric courtyard also offer the ideal conditions for outdoor weddings.
