In the early days of the former Ahrenberg-Fortsetzung model mine, locomotives were once repaired in the building; today, the locomotive shed is a unique event location.
But the locomotive shed has more to offer than just an incomparable ambience. Individual support and conception of each event by the professional team, as well as menus or buffets and also the equipment in the areas of lighting, sound, media and stage technology, seating and decoration guarantee events of the highest standard.
Celebrate, meet, present, train – the historic locomotive shed offers an extraordinary ambience, representative and extravagant with the charm of an industrial monument, exclusive and solely for your day.

- The prices are calculated for the year 2018, we reserve the right to adjust prices.
For your information: Our rooms are only available for a minimum of 80 guests. In January, February and March, however, the minimum number of people is 70.
Viewings are possible on Tuesdays and Wednesdays from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. by arrangement. We would be happy to reserve your desired date, if it is still available, for 10 days without obligation.
On Fridays and Saturdays we offer civil weddings followed by a wedding reception. The registry office in Bottrop makes appointments one year in advance.
