From 2027, our new wedding location in Ennepetal will open its doors to couples who want to design their day freely, individually and entirely according to their own wishes.
The sheltered garden surrounding the house creates a private, relaxed atmosphere. Surrounded by greenery, wild plants and tall bamboo, a natural setting is created which, with fairy lights, flowers and your personal details, transforms into exactly the wedding world that suits you.
The level terrain offers ideal conditions for long tables or individual table arrangements — for shared dinners outdoors, for closeness, conversations and real moments with your favorite people.
You can enter the house directly via a wooden staircase. The kitchen, dining and living area are available for your shared use — as a retreat, preparation kitchen or relaxed alternative when the weather changes.
What makes this location special is the freedom:
You decide what your wedding should look like.
Whether it's your own catering, food truck or self-organized kitchen — everything is possible. You also have free choice when it comes to drinks and can bring your own wines and favorite beverages independently.
Of course, we are also happy to support you with decoration or suitable service providers upon request, e.g. For example, in the area of catering — but always in such a way that you retain control over your day.
Besides weddings, the location can also be booked for special, personal occasions: bachelorette parties, romantic marriage proposals, baby bump celebrations or small private parties find a protected and loving setting here. A wedding photographer with a very special sensitivity is on site and could be booked as well.
From 2027 onwards, a very special keepsake can also be created: a clay cast of the baby bump, which is later fired and glazed to create a lasting memory as an individual ceramic bowl.
This location is intentionally designed for smaller, intimate celebrations — for people who don't want a rigid framework, but a place where they can truly create their own moments.

The open-plan kitchen is modern and equipped to a high standard – with a central island, stylish details, and plenty of natural light. It's the perfect place for getting ready together, preparing small meals, or enjoying romantic moments with a glass of sparkling wine.
For small gatherings or upon request, I also offer homemade dishes in close consultation – such as a delicious breakfast, a light snack, or a personalized candlelight dinner for two.
For larger events, however, I entrust the catering to experienced partners: Just 2 km away in town, there's an excellent restaurant that also offers catering with regional cuisine. Working with them is straightforward and without additional fees.
This way, the culinary arrangements remain completely flexible and tailored to your wishes – from lovingly homemade dishes for a small gathering to professional catering for a large celebration. -

Overnight stays are unfortunately not possible at our location itself, as it is a private residence. Just 2km away, bridal couples and guests will find a charming hotel with double rooms and a bridal suite – perfect for relaxation after a special celebration.
Nevertheless, “Zwischen Efeu und Rosen” (Between Ivy and Roses), with its garden and veranda, invites you to experience the special day or even several days in an undisturbed, loving atmosphere. Here you can enjoy a relaxed getting ready in a stylish, light-filled ambience, host an intimate engagement breakfast or a romantic picnic in the garden – surrounded by historical beauty, natural charm and plenty of peace and quiet.
As your host, I deliberately do not offer parallel bookings so that you have absolute privacy and a protected space to celebrate and capture your moments undisturbed.
With my many years of experience in floristry and art, I can create individual decorations and calligraphy artworks upon request – from delicate flower arrangements to handwritten linen menu cards to lovingly designed banners with your personal wedding vows. This way, your stay will not just be an event, but an emotional break full of magic and special memories.

The heart of the venue is a lovingly landscaped garden, framed by privacy screens and lush greenery, offering a tranquil setting for your celebration – right in the city center, yet pleasantly secluded.
Parking is available directly in the cul-de-sac and along Berninghauser Straße. Additionally, a large public parking lot is just a three-minute walk away, providing ample parking even for larger groups.
Thanks to its convenient location, the venue is easily accessible from Hagen, Schwelm, Gevelsberg, Breckerfeld, and Wuppertal, as well as Dortmund and the rest of the Ruhr region.
