THE ISLAND is a floating island and can come to any place on the shore of Lake Wörthersee, to your hotel, your villa, your apartment or to a public jetty if you wish.
THE ISLAND is moored at BAD/SAAG, which is located halfway between Velden and Pörtschach, on the northern shore of Lake Wörthersee.
By car: A2 southern motorway, exit Pörtschach am Wörthersee West, turn left onto the main road towards Velden. After about 2 km after the railway underpass, turn left onto Saag and head east for 300 m, then turn right into the large car park directly next to BAD/SAAG.
By train: from Velden, Töschling or Pörtschach train station by public bus or taxi.

Ja, Kinder sind willkommen, allerdings sollte ihre Sicherheit an Bord gewährleistet sein. Für Nichtschwimmer sind komfortable Schwimmwesten an Bord, die sich bei Kontakt mit dem Wasser selbständig aufblasen.
