Arrival at the Schüttalm
Arrival by car is possible as far as the lift parking lot at Shuttleberg in Kleinarl (Viehhofstraße 4, 5603 Kleinarl, Austria). Please park in the last row of the parking lot.
From the parking lot you can reach the Schüttalm via several routes:
Option 1 – on foot (hiking):
When the Champion Shuttle Lift is open, you can comfortably travel to the middle station and from there hike to Schüttalm in about 45 minutes via hiking trail no. 85.
Alternatively, you can start directly from the parking lot in the valley, taking hiking trail no. 75 to the Mönchsberg and then hiking trail no. 85 to the alpine pasture. This hike takes approximately 2 to 2.5 hours.
Option 2 – with the call taxi:
You can use a call taxi directly to the Schüttalm. Please reserve this in advance with Taxi AV.
Option 3 – by bike:
From the Shuttleberg parking lot, cycle towards Wagrain until you reach the junction "Brandstadtweg". From there, continue along the forest road (yellow bike signs) to the Schüttalm.
