With over 500 years of history, Tratzberg Castle is one of Austria's select cultural treasures. Tratzberg was once the hunting lodge of Emperor Maximilian I, but for 300 years it has been owned by the Counts Enzenberg family, whose private residence it remains to this day.
Nevertheless, you can still celebrate the most beautiful celebration of your life in the historically significant, selected halls and rooms.
In addition to the world-famous Habsburg Hall (with its 500-year-old family tree paintings), you can also visit the hotel's own chapel and the unique Renaissance courtyard with its wall paintings. Furthermore, our modern and high-quality seminar courtyard is available for rent to accommodate you and your guests. There you have enough space to stay in 16 rooms (single and double rooms), each with its own bathroom.
In order to ensure the exclusivity of the location and to maintain the castle standard, we only offer an exclusive and castle-appropriate all-inclusive package, which covers and includes the following services:
- Private event – plenty of space to relax and celebrate
(To avoid any disruption to your dream wedding and to provide you with the rooms in the castle exclusively)
- 360 degree event management (from an internationally certified and award-winning wedding planner)
- The following areas are included in this scope:
Use of the 900m2 Renaissance courtyard, 180m2 Habsburg Hall, the castle arcades with spectacular views of the courtyard and the mountains, as well as 2 other halls on the same level as the Habsburg Hall
- Use of the in-house castle chapel (for weddings)
- Free weddings also possible in the arcades or in the (open-air) Renaissance courtyard
- Shuttle service for guests by our own castle train or shuttle between the spacious parking spaces at the foot of the castle and the castle
- Sufficient parking spaces available on site
- Furniture (including round tables, elegant banquet chairs and golden candlesticks) - varies depending on the service package

Habsburg Hall
The heart of Tratzberg Castle - the large Habsburg Hall, whose magnificent family tree in the form of beautiful wall paintings adorns the 180m2 hall. There are no limits to an unforgettable dinner here, whether with many round tables (the bridal table can be placed in the slightly raised bay window) or 2 long tables.
The 10m2 bay window can also be used for live music accompaniment - imagine being accompanied by harp or violin melodies during the meal!

By car
Coming from Munich or Salzburg: via Kufstein, continue on the Inntal motorway towards Innsbruck until the Schwaz exit. Back towards Stans. Through the town to the Tratzberg Castle car park. From there, walk 50 meters to the slow train station or 1km along the asphalt road up to the castle.
Coming from Innsbruck, take the Inntal motorway towards Kufstein until the Schwaz exit. Continue on the main road through the town of Stans to the Tratzberg Castle car park. From there, walk 50 meters to the slow train station.
Access via Tegernsee or Bad Tölz: Along the entire Achensee. In Maurach, after the yellow Jet petrol station, turn right down to Jenbach. In Jenbach turn right at the Protestant church (Matin-Luther-Str.). Follow the road until you can only go left or right. Turn right here, out of Jenbach, until you reach the Tratzberg Castle car park on the right.
Attention: The navigation system would like to suggest the Tratzberg settlement in Jenbach as a destination. But that is wrong! The castle is located exactly between Stans and Jenbach. So it’s best to enter Tratzberg Castle (special destinations) into your sat nav!
By public transport:
Almost all express trains between Germany and Italy and Vienna and Zurich stop at Jenbach station. From Jenbach train station it is a 5-minute drive to the castle. Every hour an ÖBB bus (line 4111) runs from Jenbach train station to the visitor car park of Tratzberg Castle.
