Are you looking for absolute romance with an impressive natural backdrop, delicious food and a unique celebration late into the night with your closest friends and relatives? Then the Hotel Schloss THALHEIM in the Mostviertel is the right place for you.
Getting married in the castle chapel
Our historic castle chapel, designed by Jakob Prandtauer, is ideal for groups of up to 70 people. Prandtauer himself married his Elisabeth Rennberger in a festive setting in the THALHEIM Castle in 1692.
The Thalheim Castle Chapel is perfectly dimensioned. Since it offers space for around 40 people sitting and 30 people standing, you could actually call it a small church. On the other hand, their size always ensures a private setting and a highly romantic ambience – not least because of their colorful glass windows.
The single-nave building has a walk-in, slightly higher choir stall with a wooden balustrade, a small organ and direct access to the castle. The chapel is equipped with a baroque altar and all this not far from Vienna.
Ceremony in the amphitheater or the noble rooms of the castle
The "amphitheater" (open-air theater) in the park of THALHEIM Castle offers the ideal ambience for the civil ceremony. The impressive square lies behind the chapel, embedded in our fragrant rose gardens.
If the weather does not play along, the elegantly furnished rooms of the castle are available as an equivalent alternative.
Wedding reception in the banquet hall
Our large banquet hall is ideal for your wedding reception, or you can choose one of our other elegant rooms that meets your requirements. The terrace in front of our castle park, our gardens and the park can also be used for coffee and cake, agape or reception. Whatever you want.
