Coming from Vienna via Stockerau (A22)
A22 Danube bank motorway towards Praha – S5 Stockerauer expressway towards St. Pölten/Krems – exit Fels am Wagram – B34 to Langenlois – at the roundabout take the second exit towards Krems/Langenlois center – after approx. 500 meters enter Langenlois center on the right – approx. 1 km straight on Wiener Straße – at the intersection at Kirchenplatz keep right – at the roundabout at Kornplatz take the fourth exit Walterstraße – after approx. 500 meters turn left onto Schilterner Straße, which then becomes Zwettler Straße – after around 700 meters turn slightly left onto Gföhler Straße, after 900 meters turn right (signpost "Schiltern"!) onto Loistalstraße, or L44 and follow the road for approx. 3 km to Neumühle, turn left onto L7028, approx. 2 km after Kronsegg, turn right onto Kronsegger Straße, after just under 1.5 kilometers you will reach On the right hand side is the entrance to the car park of Schiltern Castle, which can also be used by visitors to Noah's Ark.
Coming from Vienna or from the west via St. Pölten (A1/S33)
A1 Westautobahn towards St. Pölten – at the St. Pölten junction, take the S33 Kremser Schnellstraße towards Krems – at the Traismauer junction, take the B37a towards Krems – after the Danube bridge, continue on the B37 towards Zwettl/Horn – about 1 km after the IQ petrol station, turn onto the B218 towards Horn/Langenlois – turn left at the Langenlois Süd entrance – about 1.5 km straight on Kremser Straße – straight on at the junction at Kirchenplatz – at the roundabout at Kornplatz, take the fourth exit onto Walterstraße – after about 500 meters, turn left onto Schilterner Straße, which then becomes Zwettler Straße – after about 700 meters, turn slightly left onto Gföhler Straße, after 900 meters, turn right (signpost "Schiltern"!) onto Loistalstraße, or L44 and follow the road for about 3 km to Neumühle, turn left onto L7028, about 2 km after Kronsegg, turn right onto Kronsegger Straße, after about 1.5 kilometers you will reach the entrance to the parking lot of Schiltern Castle on the right-hand side, which can also be used by visitors to Noah's Ark.
Coming from Horn (B34)
B34 towards Krems - approx. 100 m after Zöbing, enter Langenlois Nord on the right - approx. 1.5 km straight on Kamptalstrasse - then first exit Walterstrasse - after approx. 500 metres turn left onto Schilterner Strasse, which then becomes Zwettler Strasse - after around 700 metres turn slightly left onto Gföhler Strasse, after 900 metres turn right (signpost "Schiltern"!) onto Loistalstrasse, or L44 and follow the road for approx. 3 km to Neumühle, turn left onto L7028 towards approx. 2 km after Kronsegg and Schiltern Castle and turn right onto Kronsegger Strasse, after just under 1.5 kilometres you will reach the entrance to the Schiltern Castle car park on the right
Coming from Zwettl (B38)
B38 and B37 towards Krems – take L57 towards Gföhl/Gars, follow L57, take Schiltingeramt to Obere Straße
