It is very important to us that your wedding day is something special for you, which is why we will work with you to develop the right schedule tailored to your wishes. The castle's original, historical state rooms, the picturesque inner courtyard and the romantic castle park will delight you as a location. A wedding ceremony on the lawn on the opposite shore of the lake under a rustic pavilion, followed by a boat trip across the pond as a symbol of the new path in life together and the agape under the ancient, mighty plane tree – it couldn’t be more romantic.
The castle is a historical gem with a modern guest annex in the middle of the black pine forests. It can look back on a long history.
The state rooms offer an ideal photo motif for wedding pictures with style. Not only the interior, but also the English neo-Gothic exterior façade of the castle or the extensive park with a small pond in which the castle is reflected, offer many opportunities for your dream photos as a souvenir.
From a small wedding for 15 people in our in-house chapel to a wedding for 100 people followed by a party, whether you bring a simple or lavish decoration, there are almost no limits to your wishes in our rooms. From a small buffet to a large selection of dishes for your dream wedding... the possibilities that Hernstein Castle offers you as an event location are diverse.
In total, we offer you 71 air-conditioned, modern rooms and 3 suites at the Hotel Schloss Hernstein. All rooms and suites were renovated and redesigned in 2022 to adapt them to today's requirements.
The charm of the surroundings is captured with lush green tones and earthy colors. The beds surrounded by a wooden frame invite you to relax. In the wet area you can enjoy high comfort and environmentally friendly care products.
The castle suite is available to the future bride and groom upon request at no additional cost.

Sind Hunde erlaubt??

Liebes Brautpaar, Hunde sind in unserem Schlosspark erlaubt, in den Innenräumen aber nicht. Ausnahmen sind Hunde für besondere Bedürfnisse. Sollte der Hund als Ringträger eingesetzt werden, kann dieser auch gerne bei Schlechtwetter seinen großen Auftritt haben. Danach muss er aber abgeholt werden. Mit herzlichen Grüßen
