The most modern and largest passenger ship on Lake Mondsee can be booked for weddings all year round. Did you know that you can get married in a church or registry office directly on board the MS Mondseeland?
Lake Mondsee is one of the most beautiful lakes in the Salzkammergut. On the sun deck of the ship you can enjoy the unobstructed view of the magnificent panorama with turquoise blue water and majestic mountains during your wedding cruise. Pure romance.
Our ship offers 150 comfortable seats, 100 of which are protected from the weather and 50 of which are in the heated or air-conditioned panoramic cabin. Depending on the season and weather, you can use our modern salon or the open deck or simply both for you and your guests.
Unforgettable moments in a unique location: also ideal for celebrating all wedding anniversaries such as silver or golden wedding anniversaries. Or how about renewing your wedding vows on a drive into the sunset?
The MS Mondseeland departs directly from the lake promenade in Mondsee near the music pavilion. The new large 100 square meter jetty and the adjacent lake promenade offer enough space for the champagne reception or the Agape. The jetty, the main deck and the sanitary facilities of the MS Mondseeland are of course barrier-free. It is easy to get there and there is plenty of free parking available.

Panoramic cabin
The "salon" of the MS Mondseeland, like the entire ship, was renovated to the latest standards in 2022. Very elegant and high-quality furnishings and open areas at the bow and stern directly in front of and behind the cabin invite a wedding party to celebrate. If you limit yourself to the salon, there is room for 50 guests indoors.
The cabin is air-conditioned in summer and comfortably heated in winter. Modern mood lighting and modern sound technology are available. -

A brand new ship's bar with beer tap and coffee machines are available.

The sanitary facilities have also been renovated. A changing table has been installed in the barrier-free toilet.

Sun deck with arbor

How to find us!
Our boarding jetty is centrally located in the north of the lake on the lake promenade of the town of Mondsee directly next to the music pavilion:
By car:
Coming from Vienna, Linz, Wels on the A1 West Autobahn or from other directions from Germany (A8) and Salzburg, take the motorway exit 264 "Mondsee" onto the B154 federal road in the direction of Mondsee.
Coming from the B154 from the direction of Straßwalchen / Braunau and Ried districts or from the south from the direction of Wolfgangsee, turn off at the junction near the lake onto the B151 towards Attersee/Unterach. After about 400 m you will reach the entrance to the car park at the lake promenade/Alpenseebad on the right and then the further car park south. Free and paid parking is available, subject to availability.
Coming from the Attersee direction on the B151, 400 m after the Mondsee chapel, you will reach the entrance to the southern car park and then also the entrance to the Seepromenae/Alpenseebad car park.
A flat 100 m walk through the park to the Seecafe Mondsee takes you directly to the lake promenade and the jetty of the MS Mondseeland.
By bus and train:
Take the train to Salzburg main station, then take bus number 140 to Mondsee (journey time approx. 1 hour, express routes via the motorway are correspondingly shorter). For the most up-to-date timetable information, please contact the Austrian Federal Railways or the Westbahn.
