The Event Schmiede is located directly next to Germany's oldest and most beautiful historic railway bridge, in the Müngsten Bridge Park. The ideal location along the Wupperbogen not only creates a perfect photo backdrop, but also the unique rushing river romance.
The historic brick building was built in 1574 and is still used as an active blacksmith shop today. Where steel processing once took place, art is now created, attracting many interested visitors every week. However, not only metal can be forged there, but also a bond for life. The experienced event management team of the Alte Schlossfabrik offers you the opportunity to celebrate your wedding and thus the most beautiful day of your life in this very special place.
