Description wedding venue
Celebrate your wedding at Chateau Thor: a historic estate in East Belgium, near Aachen and Eupen, with an event hall, terrace, park and on-site accommodation.
The chateau is rented exclusively to one group. This allows you to turn your big day into a weekend getaway with family and friends – from arrival and celebration to breakfast the next morning.
The event hall offers approximately 60 seats and space for a maximum of 150 people, including overnight guests. The terrace, courtyard, and park provide opportunities for a reception, wedding photos, and spending time together outdoors.
The main house can accommodate up to 22 people in individually designed rooms. The separately bookable garden house "Lonely Garden" offers up to four additional sleeping places as well as its own kitchen, bathroom, terrace and garden.
A fully equipped communal kitchen, living and dining areas, and the historic billiard room are available for your group. You can organize catering, drinks, and decorations according to your preferences. Tables and chairs can be booked separately; a sound system, microphone, and projector are available in the hall.
The minimum stay is two nights. Let us know your preferred dates and the number of guests attending the celebration and staying overnight – together we will determine the appropriate booking package.

Exclusive booking for two nights including up to 22 beds in the main house and an event evening:
• Up to and including 40 event guests: €5,250
• From 41 to a maximum of 120 event guests: €5,400
For events with 41 or more guests, staff accompaniment is mandatory. This will be charged additionally at €35 per hour actually worked.
The "Lonely Garden" garden house, with up to four additional sleeping spaces, can be booked for €420 for two nights. Furniture and other extras are charged separately. Catering, drinks, and decorations are not included.
A refundable security deposit of €2,000 is also required. All prices quoted are final prices, including any applicable VAT. -
