Description wedding venue
Nestled in a quiet, unspoiled landscape lies a lovingly restored bakehouse made of rubble stone and clay, around 400 years old. Surrounded by a romantic garden with far-reaching views over meadows and nature, this place is a retreat full of vastness and tranquility. No through traffic, no curious glances – just wind, light and landscape. Many couples say that they were finally able to truly breathe freely here for the first time.
The garden is opened exclusively for special, magical moments: weddings with breathtaking views, open-air ceremonies under a wide sky, intimate celebrations with loved ones, special proposals, or very personal wedding moments. There are no mass events or event operations – but rather space for authenticity and closeness.
The celebration takes place outdoors in the garden: with long tables, pallet or picnic tables, cushions in the grass, fairy lights in the evening light, or in a very minimalist and natural style. The bathroom in the house can be used. The bakehouse itself is ideal for getting ready, as a quiet retreat, or for atmospheric photos. Music is permitted until 10 pm, after which it should be played at a reduced volume – in keeping with the quiet surroundings.
What makes this place special is its atmosphere: old walls, clay walls, warm light and the feeling of being part of something that has grown. In the past, bread was baked here communally – and even today the house still carries this quiet warmth within it.
Upon request, I am happy to assist with the design: from harmonious decoration to wedding arches, lights, textiles and floral arrangements to handwritten calligraphy such as menu cards, banners or personal lettering. Everything is individual, understated, and shows a great sense of place.
This space is for couples who want to celebrate not in a bigger way, but more consciously. For all those who love nature, appreciate quiet and want to experience their wedding as an honest moment – supported by a place that has nothing to prove.

Garden
The garden of the small bakehouse covers approximately 200 square meters and offers ample space for outdoor celebrations. Nestled in a tranquil, natural setting, it features lovingly planted flowerbeds, a romantic rose arch, and a sheltered veranda where buffets or drinks can be stylishly arranged. From here, breathtaking panoramic views unfold across meadows and the surrounding countryside – a place filled with peace, magic, and natural beauty.
-
Entrance area of the bakehouse
Upon entering the bakehouse, one is immediately enveloped in a special warmth and tranquility. The natural travertine floor lends the room a grounded and authentic feel, while a wood-burning stove provides cozy warmth. A soft cowhide rug lies before the stove, inviting you to linger. The historic clay wall, over 400 years old, tells stories of the past and gives the room a unique, vibrant atmosphere.
From here, you can access both the bathroom and the bedroom, which is ideal as a retreat or for getting ready for weddings. Every step through this area conveys a sense of peace, security, and history—a perfect starting point for special moments and photoshoots. -
Bath in the old bakehouse
The bathroom is, of course, available to guests during their celebrations. It combines modern comfort with historic charm: completely renovated, functional, and yet featuring lovingly preserved details from the house's history. For example, a washbasin countertop mounted on a solid wood board has been integrated into the over 400-year-old front door – a special highlight that unites history and design. Here, one can experience the character of the house without sacrificing modern amenities – perfect for wedding guests, photo shoots, or intimate moments of retreat.
-

This is the perfect place to set up your getting-ready area or to retreat for a moment of peace during the festivities. Atmosphere, comfort, and the unique magic of the house combine to create a haven of both comfort and style.

The atmosphere, warmth, and proximity to nature make every moment here truly unique.
-
