Description wedding venue
Our garden location is exclusively open for special, personal occasions: small weddings, civil ceremonies, engagement parties, marriage proposals and intimate celebrations with the people who are most important to you.
There are no mass events or traditional event operations here. Instead, you can expect a safe space where encounters, conversations, and genuine moments take center stage.
The spacious garden is completely enclosed and surrounded by bamboo, ivy and natural plantings. This creates a private atmosphere that is perfect for outdoor weddings, long wedding receptions, romantic dinners or relaxed garden parties. The level ground offers ample space for classic tables and chairs, picnic arrangements, or individual concepts entirely according to your wishes.
Directly adjacent to the garden are the kitchen, dining and living area as well as a bathroom, which can be used if required. The rooms are ideal for getting ready, as a retreat for the bride and groom, as a weather-independent alternative, or for a shared breakfast the morning after the celebration.
Your freedom in planning is particularly important to me. You decide what your day should look like. Own catering, food trucks, private chefs or show cooking are possible, as is the free choice of your drinks and wines.
If you wish, I would be happy to assist you in planning your celebration. From wedding arches, candles, table decorations and textiles to handwritten menu cards, welcome signs and banners, to individual design concepts, an atmosphere is created that suits you and your story.
Together with my daughter, who works as a wedding photographer, we are creating a place where memories can be made – personal, relaxed and full of attention to detail.
This location is intended for couples who want to celebrate in a conscious way. For people who value individuality, who don't want to plan their wedding according to a fixed pattern, and who are looking for a place where their own story is the focus.

Nestled in a tranquil, natural setting, it boasts lovingly planted flowerbeds, a romantic rose arch, and a sheltered veranda where buffets or drinks can be stylishly arranged. Indoor spaces are available for an additional fee. A place filled with peace, magic, and natural beauty.

Upon entering the bakehouse, one is immediately enveloped in a special warmth and tranquility. The natural travertine floor lends the room a grounded and authentic feel, while a wood-burning stove provides cozy warmth. A soft cowhide rug lies before the stove, inviting you to linger. The historic clay wall, over 400 years old, tells stories of the past and gives the room a unique, vibrant atmosphere.
From here, you can access both the bathroom and the bedroom, which is ideal as a retreat or for getting ready for weddings. Every step through this area conveys a sense of peace, security, and history—a perfect starting point for special moments and photoshoots. -

The bathroom is, of course, available to guests during their celebrations. It combines modern comfort with historic charm: completely renovated, functional, and yet featuring lovingly preserved details from the house's history. For example, a washbasin countertop mounted on a solid wood board has been integrated into the over 400-year-old front door – a special highlight that unites history and design. Here, one can experience the character of the house without sacrificing modern amenities – perfect for wedding guests, photo shoots, or intimate moments of retreat.

The venue is located in a quiet residential area in Ennepetal, at the end of a small cul-de-sac. Despite its convenient location, you'll find a secluded garden offering plenty of privacy – a perfect setting for intimate celebrations and special moments.
From Hagen, the venue is about 15 minutes away, from Wuppertal in approximately 20 minutes, and from Dortmund in about 30 minutes. It also offers easy access to the A1 and A46 motorways, making it convenient for your guests to travel from across the Ruhr area and the Bergisches Land region.

📍 Note:
From the street, it's hard to imagine what lies behind the house. Only upon entering the garden does a green, sheltered oasis unfold, providing ample space for gatherings, celebrations, and unforgettable memories.
