Description wedding venue
A few minutes' walk from the main square lies the Alte Meierei at the foot of Bleiburg's Schlossberg. The former horse stable in the north wing of the courtyard functions as a ballroom with a capacity of up to 180 guests with spacious catering and sanitary areas. A special advantage of the Meierei: celebrating in an atmosphere of rural idyll while also finding overnight accommodation for over a hundred guests within walking distance. Depending on the room concept, the columned hall can be equipped with elongated tables or round tables (10 guests per table). At the long end of the hall is the dance floor with basic technical infrastructure for spotlights (trusses) and PA system. For smaller celebrations (up to 40 people), the star-vaulted room offers an exceptional alternative to free design. The magnificent courtyard, closed on all sides, offers an open space of 1200 m2 and can also be rented separately for open-air events with a capacity of up to 800 guests. Tables and seating are provided by our partner companies according to your individual wishes.

A spacious catering area with a separate delivery entrance and sanitary area with disabled toilets are connected to the columned hall. The entire area is barrier-free. - wolidays offer: The cultural city of Bleiburg is an attractive holiday destination in both summer and winter and is characterized by a wide range of art, culture and nature. A few kilometers away you will find several popular bathing lakes (Klopeiner See, Turner See, Gösselsdorfer See, Pirkdorfer See); the local mountain, the Petzen, is an Eldorado for hikers and mountain bikers in summer and its gondola service is also open during the summer months.
