The restaurant is considered the oldest in Europe and is located in the city center of the cultural city of Salzburg. With over 600 seats in 11 different rooms and a garden for up to 250 people, the house offers a perfect set-up for your desired celebration, from the baroque hall to the cozy parlor. What must be particularly emphasized is the very central location.
In the middle of the beautiful old town center, public squares, cozy cafes and restaurants as well as the Salzach and the Hohensalzburg Fortress surround the restaurant. With the St. Peter Stiftskirche church directly next to the business, the St. Peter Stiftskulinarium is an ideal destination and venue for weddings according to everyone's ideas.

The international cuisine is accompanied by a wine list with over 800 items.

Haydn Hall

This is where Michael Haydn, Joseph Haydn's brother and a good friend of Mozart, was inspired by the good Peter wine during his daily leisure hours over 250 years ago. Many a work by the Salzburg court conductor was written in these "holy halls". Follow in Haydn's footsteps and let yourself be inspired by the sublime atmosphere of this small ballroom - the tip about the wine still applies today. -

Virgil Salon

The city owes its first cultural heyday since the Romans to Saint Virgil - Bishop of Salzburg and Abbot of St. Peter in the 8th century. The important scholar and lover of the arts would love our stylish salon, decorated entirely in fire-red and white. The colors are reminiscent of liturgical ceremonial garments, and the stylish herringbone parquet flooring is evidence of soon-forgotten craftsmanship. This dignified salon is ideal for ceremonial, elegant occasions and smaller (standing) receptions. -

This very special room in the middle of the Mönchsberg is surrounded by a mysterious aura. Richardstube

This rock wine cellar, built over 500 years ago, was used to store the monastic wine treasures from the monastery's lands - the climatic conditions on the Mönchsberg wall are excellent for this. Even back then, the bar met with great interest from the town's population. We pay homage to the Benedictine wine culture and spoil you in this original and atmospheric brick vault with fine wines and rarities from all over the world. -
Willibald Arcades

As the heart of the restaurant, the Willibald Cave and the charming arcade courtyard form the outdoor area of our Stiftkulinarium and provide a glamorous setting for receptions or large celebrations. In addition, the Willibald Arcades offer the ideal setting for weddings, company celebrations, birthdays or standing receptions, where up to 200 guests can find space to dine and celebrate together in the open air.
