A Renaissance castle in the Mühlviertel region, 20 minutes from Linz, with a crenellated courtyard, meticulously renovated vaulted rooms, and 400-year-old walls.
Eschelberg Castle offers space for all kinds of celebrations, but also for moments that call for peace and quiet.
Most venues offer a package deal and a few hours.
We give you the keys and the freedom to design your wedding individually, with time and peace.
For three days, the castle grounds belong to no one but you.
Beyond the gate, the courtyard unfolds: crenellated walls all around, a chestnut tree in the center that has provided shade for over 200 years.
A place steeped in history – and space for your own.

The historic castle courtyard, with its medieval walls and ancient horse chestnut tree, offers 1,400 m² of space for weddings, ceremonies, and summer celebrations outdoors.

Dome Hall
The bright, spacious domed hall with its columns and high vaulted ceiling, as well as the adjoining, more intimate salon, combine historical ambiance with a relaxed atmosphere.
The rooms are ideal for weddings, birthdays, and seminars and can accommodate up to 110 people.
Both rooms are wheelchair accessible and available year-round. The package includes the ballroom, salon, kitchen, cloakroom, and restrooms.

The carefully restored castle chapel, dating back approximately 400 years, offers a unique setting for weddings, baptisms, and religious services, featuring two consecrated altars—one Catholic and one Protestant.
The chapel can accommodate up to 80 guests and is available year-round.
