As the official location of the dream wedding in Vienna, you can have your wedding ceremony held directly in the house - in good weather in our wonderful garden under the chestnut tree or indoors in our magnificent Prelate's Hall. Enchant your guests together with our team on our stylish veranda and later in the evening we will be happy to open our unique vaulted cellar where you can celebrate with music and good drinks, as well as our award-winning wines from our own wineries Mayer am Pfarrplatz and Rotes Haus. Our kitchen team will enchant your guests with traditional Viennese dishes and seasonal delicacies, true to our motto “Preserve the original, allow for new things, tradition and cosmopolitanism.”

The veranda
The impressive wooden veranda was created in 1872 to cultivate Viennese coffee house culture, expanded to its current size in 1904 and thus testifies to a long gastronomic tradition.
The legendary wooden veranda with a generous window front and a view of nature offers space for up to 90 people. -
The Beethoven Room
Historic room with a "spy window" and Gothic segmental portal (former high entrance) from the 14th century.
Our Beethoven room combines simplicity and coziness, is suitable for private parties and offers space for up to 30 people. -
The Prelate's Hall
In the 17th century, this hall was added as part of a baroque design of the house. In 1711, Provost Ernest Perger had the Prelate Hall decorated with high-quality stucco and an oval ceiling painting.
The abbot's coat of arms bears the motto:
"ERNESTI PALMAE FLORENT IN MONTIBUS ALMAE"
Which is probably best translated as follows: "The refreshing palms of Ernst bloom on the hills (mountains)."
This room is the ideal place for dignified celebrations for up to 40 people. -
The vaulted cellar
Our vaulted cellar is available for all kinds of celebrations - from birthday parties to seminars. Equipped with the latest projector technology, a high-quality music system with wireless microphone and the latest LED lighting technology in various colors, this room is perfect for a special celebration.

You can reach us from the center via Heiligenstädter Straße and turn left into Grinzinger Straße. After 200 m turn right into Nestelbachgasse/Pfarrplatz. By public transport, take the U4 to the final stop "Heiligenstadt". From there, take bus 38 A in the direction of Kahlenberg to the "Fernsprechamt/Pfarrplatz" stop. Other lines: Tram 37 to "Hohe Warte" or line D in the direction of Nussdorf. By taxi: 10 - 15 minutes from the city center. By Car2go: The Car2go zone extends to Grinzinger Straße. From there it is only a few meters to the Pfarrwirt.
