Description wedding venue
The Kunstkraftwerk is located in the west of Leipzig, a former industrial district that is now a creative scene district. After the heating plant was shut down in 1992, the listed building has been carefully renovated since 2013 and visible details of the industrial history have been deliberately preserved in every room. The focus of the new usage concept as an art venue is digital and immersive art. This creates an impressive and unique ambience that makes the Kunstkraftwerk a place with that certain something.
2,000 square meters of usable space in different rooms make it possible to combine the character of the event with the architecture of the industrial monument. On the ground floor, two large industrial halls with a flexible stage offer space for events and banquets and two individually configurable seminar rooms as well as a show kitchen on the first floor, as well as the terrace outside, provide a professional and exceptional setting for weddings with up to 500 guests.
