Family Chapel
If you would like to have a more intimate setting, the family chapel of the Hotel Sonnenburg is the perfect place to say your vows. Up to 7 people can accompany you to this special moment in the chapel, after which, if the weather is nice, you can toast the newlyweds outside. In the midst of the majestic mountains, the perfect backdrop for the souvenir photo with the entire wedding party is found. In summer, the magnificent mountain meadow frames your celebration, and in winter ceremonies have even been held on the ski slope.
Whether it is an intimate celebration in a small group or a lavish party, our banquet hall can accommodate up to 200 people. Here we spoil you with a wedding gala with a variety of menus.
After the celebration, the bride and groom and their guests can enjoy a restful and peaceful sleep in the cozy rooms and suites.

You can reach Lech am Arlberg from Innsbruck via the Inntal motorway (A12) and the Arlberg Pass or Arlberg Tunnel, or from the west via the Rhine Valley motorway (A14). On the Flexenstraße you then come via Zürs to Lech.
In summer, it is possible to arrive via the Bregenz Forest and the Hochtannberg as well as via the Tyrolean Lechtal.
Please note:
In winter, travel via the Tyrolean Lechtal / Warth is not possible due to the risk of avalanches.
At the valley station of the Lech-Oberlech cable car, drive into the Anger garage and from there to the underground arrival area. There they will take care of your luggage and you will receive your gondola ticket for your trip to Oberlech. The price for the underground car park is 28 euros per day.

Car-free Oberlech in winter
Unique in Europe: All hotels in Oberlech are connected underground by a tunnel system. Experience the pure mountain world. Without cars and traffic. The cable car connects you to Lech and back until 1 a.m. You can then reach Oberlech by night bus or taxi and a short walk through the tunnel. If you arrive late (after 11 p.m.), please inform reception.
Arrival in summer
In summer, you can go directly to the Sonnenburg – arrival by gondola is possible until 6 p.m. We will be happy to park your car in the underground car park in Lech or Oberlech. In summer the cable car only runs from 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. with a 30-minute lunch break.
