Welcome to the Hotel Alte Werft in Papenburg - where history lives! Located in the heart of Papenburg, you will find our historic hotel.
Built in 1855, the building once served as a factory hall for the local Meyer shipyard. After extensive renovation work, our hotel now has 122 comfortably furnished rooms. All rooms have a minibar, espresso machine, telephone, WiFi, satellite TV, seating area, desk and a bathroom with a walk-in shower. You can also use our wide range of conference and event rooms.

The entire town hall (called Hall 1) covers an area of 593 m², but can be divided into two rooms using a partition wall. Hall 2 then has a size of approx. 370 m² and the smaller room (Hall 3) covers approx. 220 m². All rooms have direct daylight, but can also be darkened on request.

Follow the A28 towards Groningen/ Emden/ Leer.
At the Leer triangle, keep left and take the A31, then take exit 15 Papenburg/Stapelmoor/Wymeer. Then turn right onto the L17 and follow this through the next two roundabouts.
Take the exit towards the city ring and take the third exit at the roundabout.
Follow the road “An der Alten Werft” to the next intersection. Here turn right and take the fourth exit again at the roundabout. From here you can already see the grounds of the Hotel Alte Werft. Choose one of the approximately 200 parking spaces around the hotel.
