Thanks to its idyllic location in the middle of the Thülsfelder Dam nature reserve, the 4-star Hotel Heidegrund is the perfect setting for celebrations of any occasion – at any time of year. It combines the culinary diversity of a restaurant with the warm hospitality of a hotel and offers the creative freedom of an event venue. ​
Plan your celebration in the cozy barn building with up to 300 people - with a direct view of the forest and the gardens. After the party, your guests will have 106 rooms and suites at their disposal, spread across three characterful guest houses. The next morning, you can fortify yourself with our breakfast market in the large restaurant and plan a short relaxing trip to the HeidegrundSPA (with sauna & pool).
Lots of space.
Depending on the season, the Hotel Heidegrund welcomes guests with a summer aperitif in the garden pavilion or with mulled wine by the open fireplace in winter. If the weather is good, a wedding can also take place outdoors. Afterwards, the guests take their seats in the lovingly decorated wooden barn under illuminated lanterns and celebrate undisturbed until the morning. And the way to the comfortable bed is not far in the evening. In the barn building you will find a separate buffet room as well as cozy niches for dance floors, lounge areas or a stage area. Our team will provide your guests with all kinds of drinks at two fully equipped bars. Lanterns, fairy lights, adjustable RGB lights and a music system are already installed and create a festive atmosphere.
The little ones shouldn't be bored either: the playground in the garden is perfect for romping around in summer, and in winter there is an adjoining room with games and painting materials. For the teenagers, a small bowling tournament at our bowling alley might be the right thing?
Celebrate big
Ever-growing guest lists or unusual ideas are an incentive for us to make your special day perfect! The spacious barn building consists of various rooms that can be flexibly combined. For a smaller setting, the light-flooded winter garden is suitable for up to 100 people. We cater for you from flying buffets to plated meals, from savoury to sweet, from homely to exotic, and of course from early to late!
