UNIQUE – RUSTIC – FAIRYTALE
The Herkhof is located outdoors in the romantic mountain region of Hebalpe, in the middle of the Schilcherland at 847 m above sea level. Here, tradition meets inventiveness, framed by a breathtaking panorama and a picturesque landscape.
At the Hochzeiterhof Herk, the design options for your “I do” are as individual as love and as unique as the bride and groom. If you want to get married in a relaxed and informal atmosphere in a heavenly place around the farm between flowers and trees, or like an elf in the forest, then this is the right place for you. Directly on the farm, a pavilion with a panoramic view, an old barn, and the legendary Rauchkuchl offer an original ambience for your wedding ceremony.
Also unique at the court is the possibility of replacing the civil wedding ceremony with a free wedding ceremony. This means that the bride and groom “only” sign the document at the registrar’s office in the municipal premises of Freiland before or after the couple has had a free wedding ceremony at a location of their choice.
The parish church right next to the Herkhof is available for a church wedding.
The Herkhof opens its doors for you and offers plenty of space for your wedding celebration by renting out its extraordinary rooms. You can have your celebration accompanied by culinary delights from select catering companies directly from the region.
On request, the farm's offer can be rounded off by a personal wedding service from the farm's own wedding maid. From concept development to on-site coordination on the day of your event, you decide whether and where you would like additional support. Your wishes and ideas are always our top priority, no matter how original and individual they may be!
