Description of the gastronomy:
There is a lot of heart involved in a wedding, and the food should also make every guest's heart sing. Our kitchen and service team under Claudia, Zoli, Frank and Hans have rethought the culinary arts in accordance with our motto “We give tradition a new lease of life” – with the aim of offering our guests something extraordinary and unexpected in culinary terms.
We offer a service that only very few locations can offer: plate service! Your guests can choose from several main courses directly at the table! Exclusive, beautifully presented and just what you feel like eating. Elsewhere, plate service is also possible, but the selection often has to be announced days or even weeks in advance. And apart from the chaos that often occurs when allocating pre-orders, taste can also change. Of course, we also offer a large selection of buffets.
We remain true to the region's cuisine, but we can also do things differently: Our cuisine can be as diverse as the countries our guests come from - from South Tyrolean Schlutzkrapfen to the Russian fish soup Bortschsch to Pierogi from Poland - we are happy to adapt to your wishes! Did you meet in Costa Rica? Then we cook Gallo Pinto!
Agape and aperitif are often accompanied by the iconic ice cream rickshaw, which is a first culinary WOW experience not only for our young guests. Speaking of WOW experiences: Question: Where did the unforgettable nights of partying with friends often end? That’s right – at the sausage stand! We have built an original sausage stand for you. With cheese sausages, hot dogs and meatloaf rolls! This is really fun and will keep you full for the party until the early hours. But the sausage stand is also a hit with guests at the Agape!
Below you will find some suggestions and ideas. In the kitchen, too, we are inspired by our creativity, the seasons and whatever else we encounter: in literature, in the region, in Austria, while travelling – and also by ideas from our guests.

Wines from Hannersberg
Alfred “Fredl” Gollatz takes care of the wines at Hannersberg: The vineyards are all around the house, from which the grapes for the house's own Blaufränkisch DAC Eisenberg, yellow muscat and the sparkling Welschriesling come. Together with Yvonne and Ernst Wachholder, Alfred then presses the wines and brings them to the table. Alfred is also responsible for selecting the wines from the region, and year after year a fine wine list is created, like a tour guide through the vineyards of southern Burgenland.

Of course, you are welcome to bring your favorite wines to the party or tell us which wines we should get. And yes, of course this is taken into account in the drinks package.

We would like to say the following to couples who are coming to us from further afield: Don't worry about your guests being able to make the journey (Vienna: 90 minutes, Graz: 60 minutes). It's YOUR day and your friends and family will love the ambience! And once they're there, they 'belong' to you and will get involved in the celebration.
We have had couples from Switzerland, Germany, even the USA and Rwanda celebrate with us because of the unique ambience and the warmth at the wedding mountain – so there are no more excuses! That's what friends are for...
Another advantage: Our Chalet Village Hannersberg with 80 beds in 35 chalets. Nobody celebrates with the handbrake on because they are thinking about going home, or even about the last tram. If you need more than 80 beds, hotels of all categories are available in conjunction with our affordable transfer services, some of them just over five minutes away. And the wedding weekend ends with a shared breakfast at Hannersberg.
