Location:
The Grawandhütte is located in the rear Zemmgrund in the Zillertal at an altitude of 1,640 m and is open from July to August. The approach takes about 1:15 hours and leads along a wide, family-friendly road from the Breitlahner inn to the hut.
Arrival by public transport:
By train to Jenbach (international connections).
Continue with the Zillertalbahn or the Zillertalbus to Mayrhofen.
From Mayrhofen train station there is a bus to Ginzling – Breitlahner – Schlegeis Speicher.
Exit: Gasthaus Breitlahner (last stop before the Schlegeis Speicher toll station).
Arrival by car:
Take the Inntal motorway (A12) to the Zillertal exit.
On the B169 Zillertal federal road to Mayrhofen.
From Mayrhofen continue to the mountaineering village of Ginzling.
Follow the Alpine Road towards Schlegeis Speicher and turn left to the Gasthaus Breitlahner about 100 m before the toll station.
