via the A2 Southern Motorway, then onto the S6 Semmering Expressway to St. Michael, then onto the A9 Pyhrn Motorway towards Salzburg, exit Liezen. Then take the B320 to Trautenfels and there turn left onto the B145 Salzkammergutstraße towards Bad Aussee/Bad Mitterndorf. Turn right at Kainisch towards Ödensee and follow the road to the parking lot.
from Vienna / Linz:
via the A1 Westautobahn to the Regau exit, then continue on the B145 via Gmunden and Bad Ischl towards Bad Aussee. Then take the B145 towards Bad Mitterndorf until you reach Kainisch, then turn left towards Ödensee.
from Salzburg:
via the A10 Tauern Autobahn to the Golling exit, then continue on the B162 via Abtenau and Rußbach to Gosau. Then take the B166 along Lake Hallstatt to Bad Goisern and continue on the B145 towards Bad Aussee/Liezen. Turn left at Kainisch towards Ödensee.
from Carinthia:
via the A10 Tauern Autobahn to the Eben im Pongau exit, then continue on the B99 via Hüttau and St. Martin am Tennengebirge to Rußbach and Gosau. Then take the B166 and B145 towards Bad Aussee/Liezen. Turn left at Kainisch towards Ödensee.
