Many paths lead to the Gamsalm and you can definitely get to Ehrwald by car without paying any tolls. You can then use one of the hiking and cycling trails or take the shuttle service. The shortest route on foot leads from the Zugspitzbahn car park in Ehrwald to the Gamsalm on an easily accessible forest road in just 20 minutes. The bride and groom can of course drive up to the alpine pasture by arrangement.
