With our own registry office in the blue castle chapel, we are well equipped to make your wedding dreams come true. Fall in love with the picturesque setting and unique ambience during a personal visit. Non-denominational or Christian weddings can also take place in the chapel, on the bridge in front of the castle entrance or under the open sky and old trees. A forest wedding under the "1000-year-old" oak tree in the castle's own forest is also particularly beautiful.
The castle and the thatched granary provide the perfect ambience for your celebration, and the large outdoor area with park, meadows and forest offers space for many possibilities.
If the number of guests exceeds 75 people, an additional marquee tent or tepee can be set up.
There is a lot of space and children also feel very comfortable on the property. Many attractive elements ensure a special and varied atmosphere, as the moated castle is both a historic manor house and a palace and has a rustic farmyard. The castle with courtyard, gatehouse, barn, granary, park and orchard is located on a 4 hectare site and is enclosed by the moat. The moated castle is surrounded by forest and meadows.
The resort is ideal for a relaxed wedding weekend, "wolidays" (wedding+holidays), family reunions or a wedding festival. The castle's lovingly designed guest rooms can accommodate up to 30 people, and the castle's own tepee tent in the orchard can accommodate an additional 5 people. In addition, campers with caravans or tents get their money's worth and can experience nature and history while "glamping" at the castle.

Knights Hall
800-year-old defense tower with knights' hall: In the oldest part of the moated castle, the former Fangel Tower, the knights' hall is located on the lower level, accessible directly from the patio. With its 1.50-meter-thick walls, two large windows and ebony furnishings, this rather simple room is designed for smaller parties and family gatherings of up to 20 people. The knights' hall is directly connected to the blue and red salon and has an exit to the castle courtyard (patio), so that the knights' hall can be wonderfully integrated into the overall use of the lower level.
With direct access to the large castle kitchen, it is also possible to set up a buffet for your guests in the knights' hall, so it can be easily refilled and the room is very easily accessible from two sides of the lower castle level.

If you are coming from Rostock on the A20 motorway, take exit 22-Grimmen-West. Then follow the signs towards Leyerhof and turn onto Dorfstraße. Continue on Dorfstraße until you reach the L27.
Follow the L27 towards Turow, a district of Glewitz. As soon as you reach Turow, the entrance to the moated castle is on the left, which takes you directly to Turow moated castle.
Turow moated castle has plenty of parking spaces. The parking spaces are easy to reach and are located in the immediate vicinity of the main castle complex. Please note that parking is only permitted in the areas designated for this purpose.
