Directions

From Innsbruck/Brenner:
Via the Brenner motorway A22 - exit Chiusa / Val Gardena. From there, continue on the main road towards Bolzano until you reach Ponte Gardena (approx. 10 km) and then take the road that leads to Castelrotto, in the Sciliar area. After 8 km you will reach the crossroads to the Seiser Alm. From here to Compatsch, from there to Saltria, then right over the bridge for another 500 m and you will have reached your destination, the Hotel Tirler. From the motorway exit it takes about 30 minutes (motorway exit to Saltria Tirler 30 km).
From Verona/Bolzano
Via the Brenner motorway A22 - motorway exit Bolzano Nord. From there, continue on the main road towards Brenner to the village of Blumau and then take the road that leads to Kastelruth, the Sciliar area, and the Seiser Alm (motorway exit to Compatsch / Saltria / Seiser Alm 33 km).
Access is free for house guests on arrival and departure days, but a driving permit is required. During your stay, driving is only permitted during certain hours of the day.
From Siusi, access to the Seiser Alm is possible with a modern gondola lift and regular buses. Another gondola lift runs from Ortisei in Val Gardena to the Seiser Alm.
From Ortisei to Tirler without a car
The red cable car takes you very easily to the Seiser Alm. In winter you can reach us directly on skis, in summer you can go hiking. We are also happy to pick you up at the mountain station (only possible in summer).
From Seis to Tirler without a car
The Seiser Alm gondola takes you from Seis directly to the center of the mountain pasture in just under 15 minutes, from where various buses go towards Saltria. From Saltria it is only a 15 minute walk. We would also be happy to pick you up at the mountain station.
The Tirler is easily accessible from neighboring countries using a variety of public transport options.
Getting to Tirler from Germany without a car:
If you are travelling from Germany by plane, Munich or Innsbruck would certainly be the perfect destination airport.
From the Munich and Innsbruck airports there are various South Tyrolean tour operators that offer a bus transfer that will take you quickly and comfortably to South Tyrol. The Klausen stop is the closest to the hotel for our guests.
From here you can take a taxi that will take you right to your front door.

If you prefer to travel by train, there are various IC and EC trains available that will take you comfortably to South Tyrol.

Getting to Tirler from Austria and Switzerland without a car:
From these two countries you can of course also travel by plane, just like from Germany. However, the train is often cheaper. Both Switzerland and Austria are well connected to South Tyrol by train lines.
