By car from Vienna on the Landstraße 84:
You leave Vienna on the A2 in a southerly direction, merge onto the A3 and drive to the junction where the federal highway 16 branches off towards the Hungarian border. Behind Klingenbach you reach Hungarian territory. In just a few minutes you will reach Sopron on the country road 84.
Immediately at the road, keep slightly right and leave the road 84 towards Ágfalva and Brennbergbánya on Lackner Kristóf utca. Leave the roundabout at the second exit, then drive straight on, at the next roundabout take the first exit into
Selmeci utca, where at a T-junction turn left onto Táncsics utca, then right onto Kossuth Lajos utca, after the tracks turn immediately left onto Mártírok út.
At the traffic lights turn right and you will reach Erzsébet Park, which is fenced in on the right hand side, at the Y-junction there keep right and you will reach Bánfalva, where you will continue on Ady Endre út.
After a few minutes' drive on the winding main road through Kertváros, the hilltop church and monastery appear opposite. At the foot of the monastery hill, turn left at the sign with the inscription “Műemlék”, there a narrow passage leads through an outbuilding towards the monastery. After the building there is a narrow left turn and you have reached the entrance.
