Dear lovers, by choosing to get married at Freudenberg Castle, you will become part of its eventful history. Built in 1904 out of love, here in Wiesbaden on the Freudenberg overlooking the Rhine, it has crossed destinies and united worlds. Almost 30 years ago, we artists found a dilapidated, empty castle – walled up and left to decay. With the motto "Healing through art and restoration," we awakened it and created an experiential field for the development of the senses and thinking: Over 100 stations, installations and artworks in the castle and park invite you to rediscover yourself and the world.
At your wedding, you will celebrate in this living work of art, amidst construction sites and change – exactly as it is now. The castle walls store your love story and whisper it on, and as guests you support our project of the non-profit organization Society for Nature and Art. We design your celebration as a work of art within a work of art, tailored to the weather, the space and your special wishes: "Nothing is as constant as change" – but our goal remains that you and your guests celebrate happily on the mountain of joy.
