The Martinshof near Fischerbach in the Kinzig Valley
The Martinshof is considered to be the oldest farm in the entire Kinzig Valley. The historic Black Forest farm between Fischerbach and Hausach was built at the end of the 11th century. In its early days, the Martinshof was still owned by the Alpirsbach monastery and has had changing owners over the course of history. The Martinshof is now available for special weddings, birthdays and other events, it offers a beautiful courtyard room, kitchen and a beautiful chapel.
The Martinshof also includes the Martinshof mill, which can be used for overnight accommodation for up to 9 people. It is a real gem and a very popular location.

Coming from Hausach, the first thing you see is the Martinshof on the left. On the hill to the right - and thus opposite the rest of the farm - is the Martinskapelle.
