🌸 Spring: The awakening of the mountain world. Spring at 1,600 meters is characterized by a gentle transition. After the end of the ski season in early April, the alpine pasture usually takes a short break before reopening in mid-May for the mountain summer season. First rays of sunshine: The gigantic, 250 m² panoramic sun terrace reopens. One enjoys the view of the still snow-covered three-thousand-meter peaks in mild temperatures.
🍂 Autumn: Törggelen & golden prospects
Autumn (until the beginning of November) is the time of clear air and intense colors in the Ahrntal valley. The view of the 83 surrounding three-thousand-meter peaks is now sharper than ever before.
Seasonal cuisine: In the 9 rustic South Tyrolean farmhouse parlors of the Kristallalm, autumnal specialties are now the focus. Ideal for trying traditional dishes such as the "Kristallalm Tris" (dumpling variations) or specialties with genuine Ahrntal grey cheese.
