The over 1,000-year-old monastery complex is more than impressive and steeped in history. The former Benedictine abbey is one of the largest and most exquisite examples of early Romanesque sacred architecture north of the Alps.
This is the perfect setting to host an impressive event for up to 400 people.
Whether open air in the romantic 300 sq m refectory with adjoining cloister or indoors in the 250 sq m historic vaulted cellar surrounded by the charm of the monastery ruins and an English landscape garden.

of all kinds. Weddings, birthdays, parties, anniversaries, corporate events, roadshows, and much more can be easily realized with us thanks to our spacious spaces and high flexibility.

Even back then, the refectory served as a dining and assembly hall for the Benedictine monks.
So, you too can spend unforgettable hours with your guests in the impressive ambiance of our open-air venue.
The open space, with its ruined charm, can be used in a variety of ways. Additionally, colorful ambient lighting and background music create a particularly beautiful atmosphere.
Upon request, we can equip almost the entire refectory with large pavilions,
to protect against light showers or excessive sunlight.
The venue is available until 11 p.m. and can optionally be rented with a subsequent transfer to the vaulted cellar, allowing your event to continue seamlessly during an impressive change of location. -

A unique indoor venue steeped in history.
The impressive historic refectory cellar is one of the oldest surviving barrel vaults in the world. It served the monks primarily as a wine cellar and retreat. This makes it the perfect venue for atmospheric events of all kinds. The space is larger than average for a vaulted cellar, offering plenty of room for larger celebrations.
Wedding receptions, dinner events, corporate celebrations, grand birthdays, parties, theater performances, readings, and much more are easily accommodated thanks to state-of-the-art lighting and sound technology, atmospheric ambient lighting, and a stage.
