This romantic wedding location, ideally located between Hamburg and Berlin, is guaranteed to enchant you and create unforgettable memories.
The Friedrichsmoor hunting lodge has been located in the district of the same name in Neustadt-Glewe since 1704, in the middle of the European bird sanctuary “Lewitz” in West Mecklenburg, and was the hunting seat of the Dukes of Mecklenburg. Today the hunting lodge is surrounded by old oak trees and beautiful forest paths for long walks. To the north, the Breite Graben flows past the castle and a deciduous forest borders the castle grounds.

The listed building is divided into seven interconnected rooms that can be individually designed for you.
The castle park on the south side of the hunting lodge fascinates with a breathtaking romantic idyll and offers you the opportunity to celebrate in the open air.
On the north side of the hunting lodge you will find the castle meadow, which offers enough space for you and your guests.

The adjacent foyer, as well as the terrace integrated into the castle garden, are available for the wedding reception.

The Friedrichsmoor hunting lodge is an outpost of the registry office and offers you a natural and unique place to individually design and experience your big day according to your personal wishes and ideas. The Neustadt-Glewe registry office regularly assigns wedding appointments for marriages.
Our beautiful and lovingly furnished wedding room can accommodate around 30 wedding guests, creating an intimate and festive atmosphere. In addition, other guests in the adjoining room have the opportunity to watch the wedding ceremony and take part in this special moment.
In the extensive castle park, you also have the opportunity to celebrate the civil wedding or the free ceremony together with your guests under the majestic, almost 100-year-old oak trees outdoors and enjoy the natural beauty of the place.
