A7 / A210 / A215 to the Kiel-Mettenhof exit, towards Mettenhof. Turn right at the first traffic light and follow the signs to Hasseldieksdamm. After the 2nd traffic light turn right into Martenshofweg. The Hotel Birke is on the left side.
B 404 to the Hamburger Chaussee stop, on the B76 towards the airport, exit Kronshagen Süd, left onto Kronshagener Weg towards Mettenhof, after approx. 2 km turn left into a wooded area onto Melsdorfer Straße, turn right at the 1st intersection, turn left again at the 1st intersection into Martenshofweg.

BY TRAIN & BY BUS
Train station: Kiel HBF (directly in the city center), then take bus number 91 or 31 in the direction of Mettenhof to the Waldesruh stop (you will see the Hotel Birke on the opposite side of the street) or take a taxi - the journey takes about 10 minutes (about 4.5 km).
Public transport: The four bus lines 6, 31, 91 and 704 with a stop ("Waldesruh") directly at the hotel make us easy to reach from all directions and from every point in Kiel throughout the day.
By boat
The ferry terminals of the "Stena Line" and "Color Line" are located directly on the Kiel Fjord / city center and about 10 minutes (about 4.5 km) by car or taxi from the hotel.
