The adjacent castle courtyard offers space for various activities – so you can live out well-known wedding traditions such as sawing logs, cutting out hearts or the popular balloon ride.
We are happy to offer you lucrative combinations with our Schloßschänke beer garden for your wedding – for example, we will treat you and your guests to coffee directly on the Hornwerk of Schloss Sonnenstein – later we will welcome you in the castle café above.
In cooperation with the city of Pirna, we offer private tours through the bastions of Sonnenstein Castle or through the terraced gardens, which are well worth seeing - so you can kill two birds with one stone: your guests will experience something special and you will have time for your exclusive wedding photos - the fantastic view, the beautiful castle hill or the romantic castle park will ensure this.
