The Gut Glindfeld estate is nestled in the tranquil nature of the Sauerland region near Medebach and offers you the perfect setting for a wedding with history and charm. The former monastery, dating back to 1298, combines historical flair with modern comfort – and best of all: it is an official branch of the Medebach registry office. This means your civil wedding ceremony will take place in a truly special location. You have the choice between the bright conservatory (up to 30 guests with park view), the rustic historic barn or a free wedding ceremony under the old monastery entrance. In addition, a church wedding is also possible in the St. Laurentius Chapel directly opposite – so your whole day stays in this magical place.
For your wedding celebration, the lovingly converted former cowshed is at your disposal, which can accommodate up to 150 guests – whether rustic-country, elegant or creatively unusual, every vision becomes reality here. You can bring your own caterer and design the culinary experience entirely according to your wishes. Ample parking is available, and the entire estate grounds with its old trees and historic buildings offer a dreamlike backdrop for unforgettable wedding photos.
