Description wedding venue
The Royal Salon at the DB Museum Nuremberg is a historical gem from the old Nuremberg Central Station – a magnificent neo-Gothic waiting room designed in 1860 by architect Friedrich Bürklein on the orders of King Maximilian II for emperors, kings, and nobles. With its richly ornamented paneling on the walls and ceilings, it remains to this day an atmospheric testament to German architectural history and offers you, as a bridal couple, a unique backdrop for your dream wedding.
Since 1925, the museum has housed the preserved hall, which now serves as a part-time registry office. Register with the Nuremberg Registry Office – reservations are handled by the cashier at the Town Hall (Hauptmarkt 18, 4th floor, Room 401). The ceremony costs an additional €350 and takes place every half hour from 10:00 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Photos are permitted in the ceremony room, anteroom, foyer, ground floor staircase, and vehicle hall I (masks are required).
