  The rural threshing floor on the first floor of our estate has an area of approximately 10x10m. The room, which is largely made of wood, has large windows and many lighting options, creating a romantic atmosphere. The room also has underfloor heating. It has good acoustics and the large windows with steel frames and a constant view of the greenery can be opened, giving the room a modern touch.

  Getting Ready

  The moment before a wedding or a special celebration is one of the few pauses in an otherwise busy day.
  A space to arrive, prepare, take a deep breath – perhaps together with your closest confidants.
  Our getting ready rooms on the first floor of the castle are designed for just that: lovingly furnished with historic furniture, natural light, generous mirrors, seating, and everything that makes the start to a special day pleasant.
  Coffee, tea and a bottle of sparkling wine are available as a welcome gift.
  But this special place is not just for getting dressed for the first time. The rooms are available to you until the evening – as a constant retreat throughout the day. A place you can return to again and again: to pause for a moment, freshen up, adjust your dress or suit – or simply for a moment of peace.
  There is a spacious, light-filled salon (approx. 33 sqm) where the ladies often prepare themselves.
  The adjoining study (approx. 24 sqm) has its own exit to the spacious hallway (approx. 33 sqm) and is ideal for the gentlemen. A separate bedroom for discreet changing or a short break and a daylight bathroom (approx. 5 sqm) are also available.
  A special highlight is the large balcony with a view of the Schaubeck Castle park – and the rose garden, where weddings often take place. From here, you can discreetly take a look at what's going on – or simply enjoy a moment of silence, far away from the hustle and bustle.
  Spacious corridors, charming secluded nooks, and the special atmosphere of the historic walls make this part of the castle an exclusive, private, and timeless place — not just for the beginning, but for the entire day.
