A new, unusual wedding venue has enriched the Altmühl Valley since June 2019.
Solnhofen has said “YES” to the first alternative, nature-oriented wedding location in the Altmühltal Nature Park.
The motto here is: Off to the fields!
Whether on foot, by rickshaw, or romantically in a carriage – everything is allowed that can be moved with as little emissions as possible. That is exactly the concept and what makes the charm of this “slightly different way of getting married”. If you want, you can cycle directly to the wedding, together or from different directions, because the wedding venue is between Eßlingen and Solnhofen, directly on the Altmühltal cycle path. It is possible to arrive by car with a special permit, but who needs a car when you can paddle a canoe right up to the harbor of marriage.
An absolute plus is the possibility to individually design everything around it. Whether you want to snuggle up as a couple on a bench under the 20-meter-high cherry tree or with guests who would like to bring their dog, we will try to fulfill your wishes as far as possible.
As a wedding venue, the Altmühltaler Hochzeits-Acker offers both creative flexibility regarding the ambience and the civil legal validity of the marriage.
With a sensational view of the rock group “the 12 Apostles”, the Treuchtlingen registry office and the 1st Mayor of Solnhofen marry.
