Alte Försterei Briescht - A very special and idyllic place!
If you want to celebrate the most beautiful day of your life in a completely relaxed manner in a natural and rustic-romantic atmosphere, then you have come to the right place for your perfect country wedding at our historic forestry farm!
It is important to us that every wedding is unique and unforgettable. That is why we are at your side with professional and, above all, individual advice and planning. We take a lot of time to do this. This means you don't have to worry about anything on your special day, but can simply enjoy it together with your loved ones.
We also work with many excellent partners, whom we would be happy to introduce to you if required. This includes a wide variety of catering, photography & film, live bands or DJs, freelance wedding officiants, special flower decorations and of course guest houses and hotels in the immediate vicinity for the accommodation of your guests. Our friendly team ensures professional service.
The central place is the courtyard with the over one hundred year old walnut tree, which provides shade and coolness in the summer and even a roof in light rain. There are many possibilities for additional decoration, which you can also do yourself, according to your wishes.
The festival barn has already hosted many wonderful weddings and exudes its unique romantic-rustic charm. When the summer evening sun falls through the wide open gates and bathes everything in a warm golden light, even we are fascinated again and again. A special feature is the original French bar from Paris in the 1920s, which brings a sophisticated touch and a certain old elegance to the rural ambience. This bar also has one of the most wonderful love stories.
Weddings for up to 100 people only take place on weekends in June, July and August, as the historic barn cannot be heated. In the cooler seasons, however, smaller groups of up to 30 people can celebrate in the cozy and rustic bar room.
As an officially registered wedding venue, we offer you the possibility of a civil marriage on site in the open air or on the theater stage in the festival barn.

Contrary to what one might think, the ALTE FÖRSTEREI is not located deep in the forest, but in the middle of the village of Briescht on the Spree, around 12 km southwest of the town of Beeskow and between Scharmützelsee and Schwielochsee. In addition to the Spree, the cycle paths "Märkische Schlössertour" and "Spreeradweg" as well as the Jacob's Pilgrimage Route Frankfurt/Oder-Leipzig lead through the town.
