At Op Herdicke there are several rooms for celebrations.
A very special advantage is the possibility of a civil wedding with us.
This will be carried out by a registrar of the city of Holzwickede, in the beautiful fireplace room.
In the adjacent tower room, the bride and her bridesmaids can relax and have their hair styled.
A special highlight here is the direct access to your own balcony.
After the wedding ceremony, you can celebrate in a relaxed manner in the Hall of Mirrors, where there is also a separate balcony with a wonderful view of the moat.
The Hall of Mirrors can accommodate up to 50 people.
Free wedding
In recent years, more and more couples have been getting married in private. Here the ceremony is conducted by an independent wedding officiant and is always individually tailored to the bride and groom.
We have the possibility to hold an open-air wedding in our own castle park. If the weather doesn’t play along, there is an emergency plan in the barn.
Larger groups have the opportunity to celebrate their wedding in the barn and the Bauhaus.
