Banquet hall
The largest room in the castle, with its imposing, early Baroque ceiling fresco from the 17th century, of inestimable value, is the central highlight of every wedding party. (Details of the ceiling fresco: It shows figurative representations, probably from Greek mythology, which are framed by architectural elements such as railings with decorations. According to a report by the qualified restorer Thomas Lehmkuhl, around 41 percent of the original 300-year-old painting has been preserved. 59 percent were added during the restoration work from 1977 to 1979.) With banquet seating, there is room for parties of up to 140 people. High-quality WDR 2 concerts, comedy events and the annual Citizens' Prize ceremony of the city of Herten also take place here regularly. With theater seating, there is room for up to 220 guests. But if you are planning a stylish and unusual "castle party", you can invite up to 400 guests here.

Baroque Hall
Probably one of the most beautiful rooms in the entire castle - if not the most beautiful. The magnificent stucco ceiling with the great interior paintings, high-quality fabric wallpaper and an impressive marble fireplace give an idea of the splendor of times gone by. The Baroque Hall is the most popular room for a civil wedding and offers space for up to 90 guests. This room is also often used for seminars, receptions or other festivities. For our wedding parties, this room not only serves as a buffet area, but the cocktail bar, a candy bar, a children's table, the photo booth or other "specials" suitable for the respective wedding are also set up here.

Unsere Hochzeit am Schloss Herten
Wir haben im Schloss Herten vor einer Woche geheiratet und waren vollends begeistert. Die Location ist wunderschön, angefangen beim romantischen Barocksaal, dem schön beleuchteten Hauptsaal, dem einladenden Empfangsraum inklusive Brücke und dem Außengelände, welches sich super für die Aufnahme schöner Fotos eignet. Das Essen hat wirklich jedem Gast geschmeckt und jeder Gast hat sich hier wohl gefühlt.
Herr Liptow war in der Zeit vor der Hochzeit immer für unsere Fragen und Anliegen da, egal wie klein und nichtig diese waren. Das Personal vor Ort war sehr freundlich, den kompletten Abend bis spät in die Nacht, und jederzeit hilfsbereit.
Man trifft hier auf ein sehr routiniertes Team. Wir sind sehr froh und dankbar, dass wir hier geheiratet haben. Für uns war es auch wegen der Location und dem Team um Herrn Liptow ein unvergesslich schöner Tag. Vielen Dank! 🙂

Die Location, der Service, das Essen - alles perfekt.
Bereits während der Planung und Vorbereitung zeigt sich Herr Liptow als äußerst offen und flexibel - man merkt, dass er mit Herz und Seele Gastronom ist und dem Paar jeden Wunsch erfüllen möchte.
Während der Hochzeit selbst ist alles reibungslos abgelaufen, viele Servicekräfte die mit offenen Augen die Gesellschaft bedient und alle Wünsche erfüllen (besonderer Gruß an Andi).
Das Essen ist von allen Gästen hoch gelobt worden, wir waren in Restaurants die schlechter kochen!

Top Location!!!
Ich war hier auf einer Hochzeit im April 2024 Gast und muss sagen: Ich bin begeistert.
In der Vergangenheit war ich bereits Gast auf der ein oder anderen Hochzeit in anderen Locations und sehe hier einen deutlichen Unterschied.
Allein das Ambiente macht schon viel aus…. herrschaftlich, hohe Decken, Stuck, Fresko und über eine Brücke direkter Zugriff auf den Park – Ein Schloss eben.
Der Service war zügig und zuvorkommend und die Getränke sehr gut gekühlt.
Aber mein persönliches Highlight war das Buffet:
Exorbitante Auswahl in guter Qualität. Das habe ich so noch nicht erlebt.
Sehr viele Vorspeisen mit reichhaltig Antipasti und 6(!) verschiedenen Hauptgerichten. Normal sind eher 3-4 zur Auswahl.
Hinzu kommt noch, dass es sehr viel war und anscheinend großzügig kalkuliert ist.
Fazit:
Hier bin ich gerne nochmal Gast. 😊

Vielen Dank für den perfekten Abend, der unsere Erwartungen noch übertroffen hat!
Herr Liptow hat uns bei unseren Hochzeitsvorbereitungen sehr unterstützt und alles mitgemacht um unseren Tag zu einem besonderen Tag zu machen.
„Du willst mit einem (Elektro-)Motorrad bei der Trauung im Festsaal einfahren? Kein Problem!“
Auch das Personal hat am Abend selbst dafür gesorgt, dass alles stressfrei für uns als Brautpaar abläuft.
„Ihr habt Dosen mitgebracht für die Reste? Alles klar, wir packen euch das ein und stellen es in den Kühlschrank, damit ihr es am nächsten Tag abholen könnt.“
Bringt Tupperdosen mit! Es gibt reichlich leckeres Essen!
Der konkurrenzfähige all-inklusive Pauschalpreis pro Kopf hat uns auch bei kurzfristigen Änderungen einen sofortigen Kostenüberblick gegeben.
Wir können das Schloss Herten jedem, der einen besonderen Tag zu einem großartigen Tag machen möchte, wärmstens empfehlen!
